Plan Café Beartree as part of a park visit
Café Beartree belongs to the Beartree Park setting at 217 Sinsong-ro, Jeondong-myeon, Sejong. Treat it as a possible rest stop during a paid garden outing, not as an ordinary street café you can automatically enter for the price of one drink. Confirm the current café entrance and any café-only access arrangement before traveling solely for coffee.
Separate admission, café service and private events
The park’s official visitor page lists standard admission at ₩13,000 for adults, ₩11,000 for middle/high-school students and ₩9,000 for children from 36 months through elementary school. Drinks and meals are separate purchases. Check the applicable ticket and any required proof for concessions before paying.
The operator also uses Café Beartree’s outdoor garden for private events. An event package’s hours or included admission are not the conditions for a normal walk-in visit. Ask which café or lounge is operating that day and whether any area is reserved, especially if a particular terrace is your reason for coming.
Time the break within the walking route
At the entrance, identify the café, toilets and exit on the park map. Plan the break after part of the garden walk rather than walking back and forth across the grounds. For an unhurried combined visit, allow roughly two to three hours as an editorial estimate; a 30–45-minute café pause is only one part of that time.
Choose a shorter route if someone tires easily. Ask staff about slopes and the most suitable path to the café rather than assuming every garden route is equally manageable. A bench break before everyone becomes tired can be more useful than extending the route to collect every photograph.
Park closing time is not café last order
The official park schedule varies by season and weekday, with entry ending one hour before closing and possible early closure in severe weather. Confirm the café’s own service hours separately. Arriving just before the park’s final admission leaves little time for both a walk and a relaxed drink.
If you intend to eat a meal, check the restaurant or food-service options before entering. A café counter may not provide the meal your group expects. Keep the receipt and any entry information until you leave, and ask about re-entry before stepping outside the grounds.
Pack for the park’s rules
The operator restricts outside food, large bags, picnic mats, tripods and pets; infant food and recognized assistance dogs have stated exceptions. Read the current rules when planning what to carry. Do not bring a picnic setup expecting to use the café garden as a public picnic area.
Use only authorized feed where animal feeding is permitted, and keep café food away from enclosures. For photographs, stay on visitor paths and avoid blocking others. A lighter bag and comfortable shoes will make the combined café-and-garden visit easier.
If you only want a café break without a park outing, compare La Foresta in Yeonseo-myeon and account for its separate location.
