A garden café visit with children or a dog
Café Yongdam’s Sejong main branch is at 257 Angeum-ro, Geumnam-myeon, Sejong. Family-travel listings describe a garden setting with children’s play features and resident dogs. That makes it a different choice from a quiet tea room: decide whether the group wants a garden-and-café outing before adding it to the day.
Check the current play setup
A family-travel report updated in April 2025 mentions sand play, ride-on toys and a small indoor play area. These are reported facilities, not a promise that every item remains available or supervised. Ask which areas are open on your date and choose a seat from which an adult can actively watch the children.
Bring practical clothing and a spare layer if outdoor play is part of the plan. Check the ground after rain and whether shade is available before settling outside. A café garden is not a staffed childcare service, so adults should agree who is supervising instead of assuming the whole group is watching.
Resident dogs and visiting pets
Pet-travel and family listings identify dogs as part of the setting and report pet-friendly access. Confirm the current rules for your own dog, including size, lead or carrier requirements and permitted seating. Do not assume a pet-friendly label means animals can run freely everywhere.
Ask staff before approaching or feeding resident dogs, and let children learn to give animals space. If anyone is afraid of dogs or has a relevant allergy, discuss seating before ordering. A published account of staff accommodating one family is not a guaranteed arrangement for every visit.
Order around your family’s needs
Public menus have included coffee, tea, milk-based drinks, desserts and seasonal bingsu. Confirm the day’s choices and portion size; a photograph of a large bingsu does not show how many people it will comfortably serve. Ask about ingredients and toppings if a child or adult needs to avoid specific foods.
Do not assume a packaged snack mentioned in an older family review will still be stocked. Check the café’s outside-food rules if you need to bring infant food. For a relaxed stop, allow around 60–90 minutes as an editorial estimate, with extra time only if the open play facilities genuinely suit your group.
Transport and parking
Save the Korean name 카페용담 세종본점 and the Angeum-ro address. Parking is listed, but a family report describes limited capacity. Use designated spaces and staff directions; a suggestion in a blog to park along a road does not establish that it is allowed.
The family directory lists 11:00–20:00 with last order at 19:30, but this is not a direct operator confirmation for today. Check before an evening drive. Without a car, compare the final walk and return taxi options before committing to the outing. For a more tea-focused adult break, compare Hemel in Goun-dong.
Sources and editorial check
Checked October 3, 2026: Mom-mom’s dated family-travel report and PetTripLife’s venue listing. These secondary sources guide planning; play equipment, animal access and hours require current confirmation.
