CHA Fertility Center Seoul Station: confirm the Seoul Square branch

The Seoul Station center is on the second floor of Seoul Square, 416 Hangang-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul. Save 차 여성의학연구소 서울역 서울 중구 한강대로 416 서울스퀘어 2층. CHA operates other centers, including Gangnam, so the network name alone is not a sufficient map search. Keep the branch name on every appointment message.

The official directions describe a connection from Seoul Station exit 9 to Seoul Square’s basement level; AREX passengers are directed toward exit 10 via the Line 4 area. Allow time to move through the station and find the building’s lift. Arriving at the railway platforms is not the same as arriving at the clinic. If you need step-free access, request an accessible route rather than assuming every exit has the same facilities.

Plan the consultation before fixing a treatment trip

The center’s English patient pathway begins with a request by email, telephone or WhatsApp, followed by a plan, appointment and confirmation of arrival arrangements. Registration, consultation, payment, record issuance and follow-up are separate stages. Treat that sequence as a reason to contact the team early, not a promise that all care fits into one short stay.

Tell the coordinator whether you want a first consultation, an opinion on previous treatment or information about fertility preservation. Ask what the clinician needs to review before an appointment can be scheduled. Send sensitive records only through the clinic’s confirmed channel. A travel website or public comment form is not an appropriate place to upload them.

Questions to settle before booking flights

  • Which clinician or team will review the request, and can the consultation take place in your preferred language?
  • What records, identification and consent documents are required, and must anyone else attend?
  • Which dates can be confirmed now, and which depend on assessment or monitoring?
  • How many visits might be needed, and what flexibility should you allow in accommodation and return travel?
  • What is included in the estimate, what is charged separately and what are the cancellation arrangements?

Ask for the answers in writing so that you can compare the plan with your available time. Do not start, stop or change medication to match flight dates without instructions from the treating clinician. If care is shared with a clinician at home, ask both teams how records and follow-up will be coordinated.

Make the visit easier to manage

Prepare a short chronological summary of previous care and label reports by date. Keep the appointment reply and building address available offline. Arrange a private place to discuss the visit afterward; the station concourse is convenient for transport but not for reviewing personal information. If travelling with a companion, confirm what parts of the appointment they may attend.

For any proposed storage service, request the ongoing fees, renewal process, consent requirements and future contact arrangements before signing. For any proposed treatment, ask the clinician to explain individual suitability, alternatives, uncertainties and follow-up. General success statistics cannot predict your own result.

Before returning home

Confirm how to obtain the consultation summary, who answers follow-up questions and whether another in-person visit is expected. The official pathway includes follow-up by remote communication, but the scope must be agreed with the center. Do not assume messaging can replace every examination. Keep the hospital visit separate from a fixed one-hour sightseeing slot in a route planner.
