Separate the café visit from a pool or overnight booking
Sea & Tree is a coastal café and bakery at 808 Ilgwang-ro, Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan. Korea Tourism Organization describes café floors from the first to fourth levels and a fifth-floor rooftop, within a business that also operates accommodation and pools. A coffee purchase should not be assumed to include swimming, changing facilities or access to guest-only areas.
Choose the right visit for your group
For coffee and a sea view, allow around an hour plus travel. A family swimming outing needs a separate plan: establish whether the relevant pool is operating on your date, whether day visitors are accepted, the age rules, booking requirement, price and supervision arrangements. Visit Busan describes a summer-season children’s pool. An old summer photograph is not confirmation that it is open in October.
The tourism listing marks the third and fourth floors as no-kids zones. Families should check the currently permitted seating before ordering rather than carrying drinks between floors looking for a table. Adults who want a quieter seat should likewise confirm which areas are open, since private events or operational changes can affect access.
Build the coast into your route realistically
This address is in Ilgwang-eup, north along the Gijang coast. Save the full address and check the live journey from your accommodation; it is not interchangeable with a café at Haeundae Beach. A drive may suit a coastal outing, but parking conditions and the return journey still need checking. If using public transport, compare the final walk and bus frequency in both directions before committing to a sunset visit.
Do not count travel as part of the one-hour café allowance. Keep a fixed train or restaurant booking in mind when deciding how long to stay. In rain or strong coastal wind, an indoor sea view may be the better choice than a rooftop photograph.
Food, floors and the shoreline
KTO records coffee, bakery items and a toast-and-salad platter among the offerings, with the platter described as a weekday brunch option. Check today’s menu and service time rather than assuming a full meal is available throughout the café day. Ask about actual ingredients and portion size if sharing or avoiding particular foods.
Before taking a stroller or someone with limited mobility upstairs, ask about the lift and the complete route to seating and toilets. A multi-floor café can offer several views without making every level equally convenient. Keep children close near terraces and follow all barriers and posted rules.
A path or staircase toward the sea is not a managed swimming beach. Stay within open areas and do not use café access as permission to enter the water. If your main aim is a beach walk rather than a café, compare the journey with our Haeundae Beach guide before choosing.
