Seongsu vintage shopping: clothing, furniture and new fashion are different stops
A search for “Seongsu vintage” can lead to secondhand clothes, a furniture gallery, a café with retro décor or brand-new clothing styled to look old. Decide what you want to buy before building the route. This page is a neighborhood guide, not a single shop listing or a promise that every featured item is vintage.
For secondhand clothing: Renewed Seongsu
Seoul Tourism Organization lists Renewed Seongsu at 1F, 11 Yeonmujang 19-gil, Seongdong-gu, with Seongsu Station exit 3 as its access reference. It is operated by the clothing-collection service Recl and offers secondhand clothing and accessories. Save the exact address rather than using a general Seongsu shopping pin.
The tourism listing describes 24-hour operation, but confirm current entry and checkout arrangements if you intend to visit late. A published opening schedule is not a promise of staffed assistance, fitting-room access or a particular payment method at every hour. For a first visit, choose a time when you can comfortably ask questions.
For design browsing: Anderson C
A different kind of vintage stop is Anderson C, 1F, 36 Seongsuil-ro 6-gil, near Seongsu Station exit 4. The tourism listing describes a café and furniture gallery, with a drink order connected to gallery admission. Confirm the day’s arrangement before ordering. It makes sense for someone interested in interiors; it is not a substitute for a secondhand clothing shop.
Ask before handling a display piece and check whether it is merchandise, seating or an exhibition object. If considering a large purchase, discuss delivery and all associated costs before paying. Airline luggage is rarely the right plan for furniture shopping.
Build a route with one clear priority
Pick either clothing browsing or a café-and-design visit as the main purpose. Plot your chosen addresses, then add one nearby stop if time allows. The two examples use different sides of Seongsu Station; checking the route first is easier than repeatedly returning to the station between shops.
VEMORIQ suggests allowing about two hours for two stops and the walk between them, adjusting for fitting, queues or a longer café break. This is an itinerary estimate. Do not add a time-limited pop-up just because an old social-media post places it nearby.
What makes a secondhand purchase worthwhile?
Compare condition, actual measurements and repair needs with the price. Inspect lining, seams, fasteners and any stain in good light. Ask whether returns are possible and whether an item has been altered. If you would not wear it at home, its being found in Seongsu is unlikely to make it a good purchase.
Keep receipts and the shop’s exact name. For more comparisons between market browsing and curated retail, continue with our Seoul vintage and retro shopping guide.
Official source notes
Seoul Tourism Organization listings for Renewed Seongsu and Anderson C support the example locations. Reconfirm shop arrangements on the day. Route selection and purchase checks are VEMORIQ editorial advice.
