Davich Optical · 다비치안경 Cheonho · 천호역점

DAVICH Cheonho Station is listed on the first floor of Ssangyong Platinum River at 659 Olympic-ro, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. Save the Korean destination 다비치안경 천호역점 / 서울 강동구 올림픽로 659 and telephone +82-2-484-2003. The official directions place it about 100 metres on foot from Cheonho Station Exit 2.

Find the shopfront, not just the building

The official address lists several first-floor units in the same building. Use the DAVICH storefront as your meeting point and check the current walking route from Exit 2. If somebody in your party needs a step-free route, check that separately: a first-floor address and a short distance do not establish an accessible station exit or shop entrance.

For a taxi, show the Korean street address rather than just “Olympic-ro,” which covers many destinations. Save the branch phone number before setting off so you can resolve any uncertainty about the correct side or entrance without repeating a broad map search.

Driving: confirm how the listed free parking works

The official locator explicitly mentions free parking. It does not explain the eligible duration, validation process, vehicle restrictions or what happens when spaces are full. Ask whether you need to use a particular building entrance and whether the shop validates the parking ticket. Keep browsing time and a longer consultation in mind when checking the permitted period.

This makes the branch worth comparing for a trip already based around Cheonho, especially when a return for collection is straightforward. It is not evidence that you should drive across Seoul rather than use a more convenient branch near your accommodation.

Read promotions as conditional offers

The Cheonho record contains numerous discounts connected to named employers, organisations, memberships and nearby shopping customers. A long list of percentages can make an offer look universal when it is not. Ask staff to identify the exact promotion you qualify for, what proof is needed, which products are excluded and whether offers can be combined.

Use the final written total, rather than the advertised percentage, to compare a purchase. A receipt from another shop or membership card should only be relied on once this branch confirms that it meets the current conditions. An old blog post is not a substitute for that confirmation.

Specify the order before asking how quickly it can be made

Explain whether you need a frame, lenses or a complete pair, and state the date you leave Seoul. Bring existing glasses and any prescription information available. If you selected a frame online, keep its model number and size with the photograph. Ask the branch to confirm the actual products, stock and expected completion date.

Request the price of both lenses, the frame, any optional additions and fitting as an itemised total. Clarify any assessment fee before the consultation begins. English assistance, current opening hours and same-day completion were not established by the locator reviewed for this page.

Plan the pickup and aftercare conversation

  • Ask which contact method will be used when the order is ready and when to call if you have not heard back.
  • Agree on what happens if the expected collection date changes close to your departure.
  • At pickup, leave time to try the glasses and ask staff about fit rather than leaving with an unopened bag.
  • Keep the receipt, product details and the branch’s support contact; ask which adjustments or changes require a return.

Useful Korean: “무료 주차는 몇 시간이고, 주차 확인은 어디서 받나요?” asks “How long is free parking, and where do I get validation?” “이 할인에 필요한 증빙이 있나요?” asks “Is proof required for this discount?”
